Based on the different metal ions and organic ligands used in synthesizing MOFs, MOF materials can be classified into several categories, mainly:

(1) Isoreticular Metal-Organic Frameworks (IRMOFs);
(2) Materials of Institut Lavoisier (MILs);
(3) Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks (ZIFs).

Different MOF materials exhibit varying selectivity and activity in gas adsorption.

ZIF-8: Synthesized using imidazole-based organic ligands, it is a zinc 2-methylimidazolate salt.

ZIF-67: The main difference from ZIF-8 is that the metal ion is cobalt.

MOF-74: Primarily Mn-MOF-74, with manganese as the metal ion and dihydroxyterephthalic acid as the organic ligand.

UIO-66: Mainly composed of zirconium as the metal ion and terephthalic acid as the organic ligand.

MIL-101: Mainly composed of iron as the metal ion and terephthalic acid as the organic ligand.

Note: All the above products can be produced by Bont, and ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 are available in stock.
